To celebrate Fyahred's birthday today Professor Ruff Chuff & Fyahred have release the single "Cost of Freedom" from their forthcoming album "Warrior".

Fyahred is a mother, songwriter and singer, traveling along many musical vines on the tree Life. Her voice has influences and styles of reggae, dub and trance and with shades of jazz adding to her native Celtic tones.
Originally from county Meath, Fyahred has now been living in Cork for over ten years, singing and performing with a host of producers, artists, bands and Sound-systems, Fyahred is a regular on the Irish festival scene and was the lead vocalist with the popular original roots reggae band "The Italics".
In 2016 Fyahred has recorded with World Bass Culture Dj & producer Spetz, on the limited edition HWRxSPETZ Jointed Album, released on the Polish TRPLabel in May.
Fyahred is currently working with producer Toby Eaton on her forthcoming debut album "Warrior". Toby Eaton, front man with Cork digi-dub wizards Wiggle, composes music for Warrior in the guise of Prof. Ruff Chuff. The music is upbeat and dubby with bellowing bass lines ans snappy beats that compliments the strong feminine voice of Fyahred to produce a powerful collaboration of work that is 'Warrior'

'Fly Away' is the first single release from the long awaited Fyahred debut album "Warrior".
'Fly Away' is a song about the reality of war, both internal and external, through the eyes of innocence. In the hope to fly away to freedom and escape the pain of conflict.
